The

nviRequest

is an SNVT_obj_request and

nvoStatus

is an SNVT_obj_status. Both operate on objects within the

node. Object "0" is always the node object and is an inclusive OR of all objects in the node. Object "1" is the ﬁrst NVI

in the Gateway and because it is an array element, it is labeled "RxIntput

NVI[0]." Object "2" is "RxIntput

NVI[1],"

and so on. Objects do not distinguish between an NVI and NVO when displaying status. This means that in a 20

input/20 output Gateway key, object "21" is the ﬁrst NVO TxOutput

NVO[0], object "22" is TxOutput

➞

NVO[1] and

so on. The nvoStatus displays the object’s condition as ones and zeros with a "1" being active. No identifying text is

included.

The Kele Frontier LNS Plug-in aids in the language, deciphering objects, and of the ones and zeros of the nvoStatus

as shown below.

LONMARK STATUS DISPLAY

1. To check the status of any NV, click the

“Object Select” button.

2. A pop-up menu of all NVs on the Gateway is dis-

played. Select the NV to monitor by clicking it. This

sets the nviRequest index.

3. Click the “In Exception” text button. A status pop-

up will be displayed.

4. The nviRequest returns the nvoStatus. This pop-up

window displays the status condition of the selected

NV. The condition in exception will be highlighted.
