The first value entered will enable the "Cancel" and "Apply" buttons. Clicking the "Cancel" button removes all changes
to the screen prior to the "Apply" button being clicked.
Although the "Apply" button can be clicked for each change on the screen, it is more efficient to make all required
changes and then click the “Apply” button.
Note: Switching to any other screen before clicking the "Apply" but-
ton will cancel any pending changes.
Figure 11 is the same NVI screen shown in Figure 10. New values have been entered and the "Cancel" and "Apply"
buttons are now active. All values on this screen apply to NVI[0].
1. Transmit Tx ID. A value of 1200 has been entered. This Tx ID must be the same Tx ID programmed to the field
receiver.

Receiver Point Number.
A value of "4" has been entered. The NV value will be transmitted to the field receiver
that matches the above Tx ID, and the value will be applied to output point number 4 of that receiver. The re-
ceiver must be programmed for point number 4.

Transmit Time Interval.
A value of "30" has been entered. If the Frontier Gateway has not received an updated
value from the network within this time period of 30 seconds, the Gateway will re-transmit the last known val-
ue.

Receiver Point Type.
This value is set to 10, which is an analog type. Refer to Table 2 for more information on
types.
5. Receiver Low Value Limit. This value is "5," which is what the "Receiver Point Number" expects to see as its
lowest value from the Frontier Gateway. Refer to Table 2 for more information on limits.
6.
Receiver High Value Limit.
A value of "100" has been entered. This is the value the "Receiver Point Number"
expects to see as its highest value from the Frontier Gateway. Refer to Table 2 for more information on limits.
