6-5. Preview Function
The preview function sets an output port on the Main Unit rear panel to be used for previews.
(Ex.) When pressing a source button on the remote control unit while simultaneously
crosspoints switch, the selected source is output to the preview output, allowing source
channel images to be checked before applying the Take function.
When a destination button is pressed, the source channel assigned for the destination channel
is output to the preview output.
Assigning Operation Preview to a Remote Control Unit Button
The Operation Preview function is disabled as default. To enable the function, assign the function
to a remote control unit button in the Web-Based Control.
Only MFR-39RU and MFR-16RUD units can assign Operation Preview using front panel operation.

Outputting the Operation Preview
Press the
O-PREVIEW
button on the remote control unit to output the preview signal from the set
destination channel.
7. Troubleshooting
If any of the following problems occur while operating your remote control unit, proceed as indicated
below to see if the problem can be corrected before assuming a unit malfunction has occurred.
IMPORTANT
If the problem cannot be corrected by performing the procedures below, turn the unit power off, then
on again. If the problem remains uncorrected, contact your FOR-A agent.
