6-4. Monitor Output Function (MFR-5000/8000)

The monitor output function outputs the destination channel source through a

MONITOR OUT

port

on the MFR-5000/8000 rear panel, allowing destination channels to be easily monitored.



Enabling the Monitor Output Function

The

MONITOR OUT

function is disabled as default. To enable the function, use the Monitor

Output button on the remote control unit.
►See 5-4-3-2. “BTN ASSIGN” and 5-5-2. "Button Assignment Change" for details on

assigning button functions.



Selecting Destinations to output from MONITOR OUT connectors

The following procedure shows how to use the monitor output function.

Step

Description

Press the assigned Monitor Out button on the remote control unit.
The button is highlighted if the function is enabled.

Press a destination button to output destination channel signals from the
Monitor Out port.
