BOILER CONFIGURATION 

This board can be used to configure 3 different types of boiler, according to parameter P3 
setting:  

 

 

P3 = 1  

Æ

  instant plate comb i (model KC) 

 

 

P3 = 2  

Æ

  heating only 

(future implementation)

 

 

P3 = 3  

Æ

  heating only with tank heater 

(model KR)

IMPORTANT:  For  this model, this parameter must be set to 1.

BOILER HYDRAULIC  CONFIGURATION 

For heating only boilers (KR) connected to a DHW system, the main board can manage 
different  hydraulic  configurations,  through the use of parameter P28 (default value = 0) 
according to the different plant types. 

These are the two possible configurations: 

P28=0

, b oiler pump + three way valve: the DHW system is managed using both a pump 

and  a three way valve. The three way valve must be a spring return valve, and must be 
connected to terminals 15 and 16 on main terminal board. 
Warning: the three way valve must be installed giving the priority to DHW system (valve 
normally open towards the DHW system).

P28=1

, doub le pump: the DHW system is managed using a dedicated external pump, 

which must be connected to terminals 15 and 16 on main terminal board. 
During DHW function, the main boiler pump is switched off.
