9. TO UPDATE DISPENSER PROGRAM
To Re-Program the Dispenser or to update the existing program:
Should the company’s beverage program require updating of flavor
profiles, flavor amounts, or button functions, the FlavorShot by SureShot™
dispenser has infrared programming capability for easy field programming.
The FlavorShot by SureShot™ dispense system allows reprogramming
using the Infrared Programming Window (IRPW) on the front of the dispenser
and an Infrared Programming Device (IRPD) to be sent to you by A. C.
Dispensing Equipment Inc.
To Re-program:
1. Obtain the Infrared Programming Device for the new program.
2. Press the
Reset button and hold for 2 seconds.

The LCD will display “Panel Disabled”.
•
The red Indicator Lights at the top of the buttons on the Button Panel will
flash and scroll.
•
This disables the button panel for the remainder of this procedure and no
flavor may be dispensed.
•
The remainder of this re-programming procedure must be done while the
indicator lights are flashing.
3. Point the Infrared Programming Device directly at the Infrared Programming
Window.
•
Press the button in the middle of the Device to activate the programmer
and begin to load the new program into the dispenser. While the program
is downloading, the red light on the Device is on. It will time out in 4
seconds and turn off if it is not pointed at the dispenser.
•
The red Indicator Light on the Reset button blinks while the IRPW
searches for the IRPD signal. The light turns solid red or off when the
program download begins. If the light continues to blink, that indicates
the Device has not found the IRPW properly. Point the IRPD at the
window again and press the button to begin again.
