3.6 Service check at 12-month intervals
Our drive systems are basically maintenance-free. Nevertheless, we recommend all end customers have their
certified dealer carry out a short service check every 12 months. During the service check, particular attention
should be paid to the following points:
GENERAL RIDE TEST
Switching on and off the drive system
Test ride
Walk assist (RIDE 60; RIDE 50 only with REMOTE B)
ENERGY AND DRIVEPACK IF APPLICABLE
Check interface is clean and dry
DRIVE UNIT / BOTTOM BRACKET
Bolting at frame interface; replace loose bolts with new ones and tighten to 10Nm for RIDE 60
or 8.5Nm for RIDE 50.
Checking the chainring for wear
Spider
HMI & Speed Sensor connector and receptacle
Secure fit of spider screw 20-25 Nm
Electronic unit of the BOTTOM BRACKET may not be removed
Regreasing is not necessary
SPEED SENSOR & SPOKE MAGNET
Position and distance
