TRANSPORT
When transporting e-bikes with one of our drive systems on a roof or rear rack, please always remove the Energy 430
(RIDE 60) / the DRIVEPACK (Ride 50) first and stow it inside the car. After transport, care should be taken to
ensure that all contacts are free from dirt and water. For RIDE 50, we recommend that you use a down tube
cover during transport
Individuals are allowed to transport e-bikes (including rechargeable battery) on the road
without any additional requirements.
Commercial traders should refer to Chapter 4.1 (Hazardous goods transport).
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
ALL INTERFACES
Clean dirty plugs or contacts with a cloth or soft brush.
PHYSICAL INTERFACE
BETWEEN
THE BATTERY AND ENERGY
CABLE / DRIVEPACK
Always keep the interface between the battery and ENERGY CABLE /
DRIVEPACK clean and wipe it with a soft cloth as needed to avoid
connection problems.
RADIATOR
Regularly brush the radiator to improve its cooling function.
REMOTE AND
SPEED SENSOR CONNECTOR
Apply silicone grease to the remote and speed sensor connector before
each assembly. This facilitates assembly and increases the longevity of
the connector.
ELECTRONIC INTERFACE
BETWEEN
THE BATTERY AND DRIVEPACK
(JUST RIDE 50)
The inside of the DRIVEPACK can best be cleaned with compressed air, so
that the contacts also remain dry and corrosion of the plugs is avoided.
POLYGON INTERFACES
(JUST RIDE 50)
Regularly check the polygon interface of the drive for wear and, if
necessary, treat the gap between the polygon and polygon sleeve with
plastic-compatible grease.
DRAINAGE HOLE
(JUST RIDE 50)
The drainage hole is above the USB cap. Please ensure that this opening
is kept clean and free from dirt.
LOCKING MECHANISM
(JUST RIDE 50)
Regularly check the locking mechanism for wear and clean it as required
(do not use degreasing cleaning agents).
