4.2 Visual troubleshooting
NO. PROBLEM REASON SOLUTION
DRIVEPACK
1 Motor power feels low Drive system is brand new The entire drive system needs to
cover a mile or so to reach full
performance
2 Motor power feels low It is very hot so the ENERGY or
DRIVEPACK heat management is
limiting power

3 Motor power feels low It is very cold so the lithium-ion
batteries cannot perform as
usual

4 DRIVEPACK does not
click into the down tube
The locker does not grab
the DRIVEPACK Red locking
mechanism is activated
Push the black wedge into the lock
so the red catch is moved out of
the locker, enabling the DRIVEPACK
to click into place
5 DRIVEPACK cannot be
unclicked from the
frame
The locker is defective. Dirt
could be blocking the locker.
The user may have ridden
without a DRIVEPACK in bad
weather conditions
Disassemble the locker. Clean and
grease the lock components
6 The DRIVEPACK makes
scratching noises
Polygon sleeve moves Apply some grease or lubricant
between the polygon and polygon
sleeve.
7 The DRIVEPACK makes
clicking noises
Too much pressure on one side
of the polygon coupling
Mobilize the polygon coupling again
by pressing it in
REMOTE
1 Red LED There is a connection failure
between the DRIVEPACK and
BOTTOM BRACKET. Dirt on the
interface may be preventing
connection
Clean the interface between the
BOTTOM BRACKET and DRIVEPACK
2 Yellow LED 1) Bad connection between
speed sensor and BOTTOM
BRACKET
2) Connector on the bottom
bracket may be corroded
Correct the position of the speed
sensor or magnet.
3 Only white LEDs are
illuminated
The ENERGY is empty Please load the ENERGY
4 The REMOTE cannot be
switched on
1) Bad connection between
ENERGY and DRIVEPACK
2) Connector is not correctly
inserted in the BOTTOM
BRACKET
1) Clean the interface between
ENERGY and DRIVEPACK
2) Check whether the speed
sensor and REMOTE connector are
correctly inserted
