The   User   Interface

Buttons

There    are    5    buttons    and    a    rotary    dial    for    you    to    control    and    roam    the    entire
system.    The

[UP]

    and

[DOWN]

buttons    typically    allow    you    to    jump    from    one

parameter    to    another    within    the    menu    system.    Pressing    and    holding    the

[UP]

key   has   two   functions,   (1)   if   you   are   in   preset   mode,   holding   the

[UP]

   button   will

take   you   into   the   Main   Menu   system.

When    you    have    the    ability    to    “scroll”    through    items    (like    presets,    or    menu
options),   you   will   typically   rotate   the   dial   in   a   Clockwise   or   Counter   Clockwise

direction    as    you    would    expect.        Rotating    the    dial    by    itself    may    change    a    value,
preset,   setting,   or   menu   item,   but   seldom   will   do   anything   other   then   modify   the

setting.    An    action    will    need    to    be    taken,    which    usually    entails    pressing    the

[SELECT]

   button   to   indicate   acceptance.

Selecting    items,    saving    changes,    or    accepting    some    prompt    for    your    input    is    usually    accomplished    by    pressing    the

[SELECT]

key.   Keep   in   mind   that   pressing   and   holding   the

[SELECT]

button   for   two   seconds   will   shut   the   unit   off.   If   you

are   in   the   menu   system   and   press

[SELECT]

to   save   a   parameter   that   you   entered   or   modified,   you   will   see   the   status

light   blink   quickly   to   indicate   the   save   took   place.   While   most   menu   parameters   will   not   automatically   advance   upon
pressing

[SELECT]

,   you   will   be   clear   to   go

[UP]

   or

[DOWN]

   with   your   changes   saved.

The

[LEFT]

    and

[RIGHT]

buttons    allow    you    to    scroll    through    the    main    menu    selection    system.    Certain    data    entry

functions   (like   entering   preset   names)   will   require   the

[LEFT]

   and

[RIGHT]

keys   to   be   used   to   change   position.   Certain

parameters   will   require

[LEFT]

   and

[RIGHT]

.

To   enter   the   main   menu   from   preset   mode,   press   and   hold   the

[UP]

key.      To   exit   the   main   menu   and   return   to   preset

mode,   press   and   hold   the

[UP]

key   once   you   are   on   the   main   menu   selection   screen(s).      If   you   are   inside   of   a   menu,

press   and   hold   the

[UP]

key   to   quickly   jump   to   the   main   menu   selection   area,   and   then   press   and   hold

[UP]

   again   to   exit

the   main   menu   system.   From   within   a   menu,   you   can   almost   always   press   and   hold   the

[UP]

   key   to   have   the   system

jump   directly   to   the   main   menu.   Of   course   you   can   press   the

[UP]

key   to   scroll   through   all   the   parameters   until   you   get

to   the   top   of   the   menu   as   well.
