Use an SDHC Class 4,6 or 10 memory card, or better performance where possible for \inal read
image. All types compatible with Legacy SD will work. Do not use new SPEC 2.0 cards. Use USB
drives for sysex dump recording.
Memory cards must be FAT12, FAT16 or FAT32 and must be 512 sector formatted.
Use the smallest possible storage capacity card that meets your needs.
While you can store more than 127 audio \iles per bank, only store those \iles you really
need available. Don’t load your banks with 1000’s of audio \iles. It will slow your system
down and offer little bene\it.
Encode your audio in MP3 320kbps format if possible. See chart in section (Audio File
Speci\ications at end of guide). TYPE-­‐0 MIDI \iles only.
For best performance, make sure ID3 labels are inside your MP3. Remove all graphics and icons
from the \ile. Remove any silence, leader gap or other delays in the beginning of your \iles. While
almost any MP3 \ile will work, these suggestions improve synchronization.
