MIDI Receive Channel
The Liquid Tracks needs to be assigned a MIDI channel to which it will listen for commands coming in from a controller
of some kind. Assign the Liquid Tracks a channel from 1-‐16. If you have multiple Liquid-‐Track devices, you will want to
give the Master unit one midi channel and all the other Slave units can have their own same number. If you will be
controlling each Liquid Tracks as a separate device without using MASTER/SLAVE mode, then assign every unit a
different midi channel.
MIDI Sysex ID
The Liquid Tracks units must have a valid SYSEX ID assigned for it to allow communication with a software editor,
another Liquid Tracks, MASTER/SLAVE mode and other operations. Firmware loaded via MIDI will look for a SYSEX ID
of 123. You can assign all of your Liquid Tracks products the same SYSEX ID #. If you need to process individual units,
or want to create pseudo networks, then make sure each of the Liquid Tracks units that are to communicate have the
same SYSEX ID. A valid SYSEX ID ranges from 0-‐127.
