3.25. Compound Modes CV+CC, CR+CC, CP+CC
FT68200 series loads provide 3 compound operation modes: CV+CC, CR+CC,
CP+CC. The compound operation mode is to add CC current limit setting in the
CV/CR/CP static mode, which can help engineers effectively solve the problem of
excessive instantaneous current during test, and protect the DUT from triggering
protection or even damage.
The CV+CC mode can be used to simulate battery charging characteristics, test
charging piles and car chargers and other similar products. CR+CC mode can be applied
to the voltage limit and current limit accuracy test of on-board chargers. The CP+CC
mode is often used to test UPS battery and to simulate the current change when the
battery voltage decays. It can also be used to simulate the characteristics of the input
terminals of DC-DC converters and inverters.
