Figure 7-21:
Selection of titer dilutions
Select the desired dilutions by left-clicking on the desired field. The selected
fields turn yellow. Several dilutions can be selected by holding down the left
mouse key and dragging the cursor over the fields.
To de-select samples, hold down the control key (Control on the keyboard) and
left-click into the field to be de-selected. It turns white again.
Exit the titer selection window by clicking on the floppy disk symbol
to save. The window closes automatically.
If you click on this button, you will see a list with the samples and
the test requirements which you can print out for documentation.
The next steps are performed as described in chapter 7.4.
7.4 Running
a
test
General instructions to successfully run a test:
o
Ensure that all reagents and microscope slides or microtiter strips
have reached room temperature before opening.
o
Use a hydrophobic barrier pen (DAKO pen) for a non-hydrophobic
microscope slide.
o
System liquid: Dilute 5.0 ml Setup Clean to one litre of distilled water.
o
IFA wash buffer/sample buffer: Add 2 bags of PBS salt and 1 tube
Tween20 (2 ml) to 2 litres of distilled water. Prepare the buffer early
so that all crystals can dissolve and everything is well mixed.
o
Only use Sarstedt screw-on tubes (2 ml) without an insert as vessels
for the IFA controls.
o
Only use vessels approved for the instrument.
o
Only fill bottles to the bottle shoulder.
o
Remove bubbles and foam in the bottles before you place them in the
instrument.
o
The dilution plates are disposable items and must be disposed of
following use!
