Take-Down Before Long Periods of Disuse
Before disuse of 3 days or more, do the following to prevent mildew or scale
formation. Failure to do so can affect testing and shorten equipment service-life.
•
Drain the steam generator of water.
•
Dry the test area (run the chamber at low humidity).
•
Unplug chamber.
■ Drying the test area
The chamber is run to dry the test area.
Turn humidity control OFF, and run the cabinet at a minimum 20°C
for about 60 minutes.
1. Check the main power is ON.
2. Set target temperature to 20°C and turn humidity control OFF.
3. Press one of the OPER./STOP keys.
Run the cabinet for about 60 minutes with the door closed.

Unplug chamber power cord.
