If water level in the wick pan is low or high, regulate it as follows:
1. Stop the supply of water and drain the water from inside the pan
by opening the valve below the water level regulator.
2. Remove the box nut on the water supply side.
3. Loosen the nut on the water supply side.
4. Adjust the water level to the standard line by turning the valve
seat. Turn clockwise when the water level is higher than the
standard line and turn counter clockwise when lower.
5. Tighten the nut, taking care so that the valve seat does not turn
with it.
6. Re-supply water, after tightening the box nut and closing the
water valve and check water level.
7. Repeat Items # 1 – 6 when the water level cannot be adjusted the
first time.
Humidifier level check (Size 4 chamber only)
The chamber will need to have power applied, water supplied and the controller power “on”.
The chamber should be running when checking the water level. Be sure to use a low humidity
set point on the controller [20°C, 5%RH]. (see section 5.4 on how to set the temperature and
humidity and start the chamber conditioning.
1. While the chamber is running observe the water level in the humidifier. (see the picture for
size 4 humidifier location.)
2. The water level should be 1”±1/4” from the top of the humidifier tank. A flashlight may be
required to see the water level in the humidifier. If the water level is satisfactory no
adjustment is required. If the level is not satisfactory then proceed with the adjustment
3. The float valve can be adjusted by loosening the mounting bracket screws and then raising
or lowering the entire cup assembly.
4. The water level in the cup should be regulated at the line marked “level for humidifier”. If the
level is not at this line then raise or lower the limit switch to achieve level control at this line.
