The user can move the region under examination and check its new
position on the control panel at the same time: this function is very useful
to ensure correct execution of the Scout sequence on the first attempt.

select Preview .
The central box of the control panel displays the default orientation of the
system related to the area under examination.
The default orientation is always sagittal except for the hand region, in
which case it is coronal.
The default orientation can only be modified after launching real time
positioning for the first time, as envisaged on the system, by re-selecting
Preview , which has a sequential function.
To interrupt the real time sequence:

select Abort ; this enables interruption of any sequence in operation
(and therefore also examination sequences and Scout sequences).
Control panel orientation
To aid the user during patient positioning, the control panel can be set in
two positions:

Standard
☛
Inclined
Standard
In the standard position, the control panel is perfectly aligned with the
side covers.
To view the images of the real time sequence and use the buttons Preview
and Abort the user must be standing.
Inclined
In this position, the control panel is angled at 45° with respect to the
standard position.
This control panel position enables the user to supervise patient
positioning operations and at the same time see the images of the real
time sequence and use the buttons Preview and Abort .
