PORTABLE DATA

The PRISM HP radios, when operating in the EDACS

configuration, permit either voice or data calls to be
transmitted or received. The radio can handle only one
type of call at a time; however, selection of either data or
voice is selected transparently by the operator through

Conventional Aegis or encrypted channels re-
quire Channel Guard on the channel to operate
correctly.
