Pressing PTT will initiate an individual call to the
displayed logical ID. Turning the radio off and on will clear
this list.
Sending An Individual Call (Trunked Mode Only)
Pre-Stored Individual Calls
The following procedures describes how to initiate
and complete a pre-stored individual call.
System Model
1.
To select a pre-stored individual phone number,
enter the individual call mode using the
#
key.
turns on. Then scroll through the list of stored
numbers using the
<
or
>
key.
2.
Press the PTT button; when the radio is clear to
transmit,
turns on,
turns off and the channel
access tone sounds. Line one shows the called
individual’s name if found in the list of stored indi-
viduals or ID followed by the logical ID number of the
unit being called. The message
displays on
line two.
Scan Model
1.
To select a pre-stored individual number, enter the
menu mode by using the
M
key. Scroll through the
mode list using the
<
or
>
key to
.
