Joint #4 Motor
Installation
(1) Mount the Joint #4 motor to the Joint #4
reduction gear unit.
Align the flat face of the shaft with the hole of
the maintenance window.
Screw: 2-M4

Tightening torque: 3.5 N

(2) Align the maintenance holes and screws position
by turning the pulley and secure with the set
screws.
Close the maintenance windows.

(3) Place the Joint #4 motor unit in the arm so that
the motor cable faces toward the right side of
arm.

(4) Place the U belt around the U pulley so that the
gear grooves of the belt are fit into those of the
pulley completely.

(5) Loosely secure the Joint #4 motor unit to Arm #2.
Loosely secure the Joint #4 motor unit to Arm #2 so that the motor unit can be moved
by hand, and it will not tilt when pulled. If the unit is secured too loose or too tight,
the belt will not have the proper tension.
