8.5 Transport System
8.5.1 Carrier Transport
8.5.1.1 Lubricating the Chains
Check the chains for smooth running, if
required, lubricate lightly with spray oil. Use
only permissible works lubricant item. no.
8300.
Never use grease, the chains can
resinify!
As an option, the machine can be fitted with
a chain-washing system.
8.5.1.2 Carrier Hand-over Module, Machine
There is a leaf spring mounted at the inlet.
This spring must have some tension. With
this spring, the carrier is lifted slightly and
then lightly inserted between the chain roll-
ers.
If the carrier is fed in a jerky manner, the
transport module must be slightly raised or
the spring leaf should be tensioned more.
8.5.1.3 Chains Parallelism and Side Play
Place the soldering carrier on the transport
chains and check whether the guiding ele-
ments of the soldering carrier are firmly
seated in the chain links.
In case of deviations, the screws on the axle
binders should be loosened and the two
axle halves rotated until the state described
above is reached. Tighten the screws once
again.
Check the uniform distance of the carrier on
its entire length to the chain guide rails.
Check the side play
(about 2-3 mm).
