3.4.2 CALIBRATION
3.4.2.1 Necessary material
The cylinders of span gas used will be connected to the "sample” or "span" input.
TIG option: The cylinders of span gas will be connected to the different inputs of the TIG (from EV1 to
EV5). The configuration can be memorised in the
“Span/Select gas” menu.
3.4.2.2 Procedure

Control zero
•
Select the zero input using the
zéro
key and wait for the measurement to stabilise. The
reading should not be higher than 1% full scale or lower than – 1% full scale (with the pos-
sible offset programmed being subtracted).
NOTE : It is recommended to verify the measurement in the “Tests / Absorption”
menu. The Abs% value should not be o/- 0.05.
Variation in the H

O measurement may be higher.
•
Make a "ZERO REFERENCE" if the measurements are shifted. Verify again the measure-
ments in zero.
TIG option: select the ZERO ANALYZER mode.

Control of the scale point:
•
First of all make a zero control.
Select the input to which the gas is connected using the
mesure
sample
or
étalon

measurement to stabilise.

mode» menu.
In this case, modification of the calibration coefficient is only made after a qualified technician has
controlled the analyzer.
