Disassembling the optical bench

(Figure 6.3)

•

Switch off the analyzer.

•

Remove the cap from the optical compartment.

•

Disconnect the connectors J3-J7-J8-J9-J12-J13-J14-J16-J17-J20.

•

Loosen the 2 knurled fastening screws and remove the clamp.

•

Free the measurement chamber from the optical compartment and disconnect the 2

Isoversinic tubes. Carefully mark their respective positions.

•

Switch off the analyzer.

•

The chopper optical fork can be reached directly from the IR source block.

Replacing the optical fork assembly

•

Loosen the 4 screws (4) to remove the source block unit.

•

Loosen the screws (2).

•

Remove the optical forks assembly.

Adjusting the synchronisation

•

See chapter 5 paragraph “Adjustment and inspection of the motherboard”.
