ADJUSTMENT OF THE MOTOR SPEED

This should be adjusted by using potentiometer P12 and setting an identical value to that indicated on
the control board accompanying each analyzer.

In the “Tests / Optical Bench” menu, check the RPM value corresponding to the motor speed signal.

The motor speed signal can also be visualized in the “Measurement/Synoptic” menu.

5.2.6

ADJUSTMENT OF THE AMPLIFICATION CHAIN

To visualize the different signals, a double-trace oscilloscope is required. The grounds of the probes
should be connected to point Pt 25 of the motherboard.

5.2.6.1

Control of the optical forks.

“Signal chopper” optical fork.

Connect the probe of the oscilloscope to Pt 9 in order to visualize the signal. Its amplitude should
be > 3.800 mV. Otherwise, change the optical fork.

“Index GFC” optical fork

Connect the probe of the oscilloscope to Pt 13 in order to visualize the signal. Its amplitude should
be > 3.800 mV. Otherwise, change the optical fork.

After replacing the optical fork, it is essential to start up the control procedure again in order to make
sure of its characteristics.
