FILTER SYSTEM
The filter stops large pieces of food and other solid objects getting into the pump.
The filter system comprises a coarse filter, a flat filter (main filter) and a microfilter (fine filter).
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Filter unit
The filter efficiently removes leftover food from the washing water so that it can be reused in the wash cycle.
For optimum functionality and washing results, the filter unit must be cleaned regularly. It is thus advisable to
clear the filter of coarse particles before each wash cycle. To do this, rinse the filter and filter body under run-
ning water. To remove the filter unit, pull the handle upwards.
WARNING!
Never run the dishwasher without the filter in place. Incorrect filter installation can reduce
machine functionality and damage plates and cutlery.
Main filter A
Leftover food and dirt particles that get caught in this filter
are split up finely by a special jet from the spray arm. They
are then rinsed away via the drain hose.
Fine filter B
This filter holds dirt particles and leftover food in the sump so
that they do not get back onto the washing-up.
Coarse filter C
Large particles (e.g. pieces of bone, broken glass, etc.) that
could block the drain outlet are caught in the coarse filter.
To remove objects that have been caught in the coarse filter,
grasp the grips above the filter and lift.
