Chapter 5 Connecting Multiple External Devices
5-1. Switching among Input Signals
The input signal switches each time
is pressed.
When the signal is switched, the active input port name appears at the top right corner of the screen.
5-2. Setting Input Signal Switching Procedure
Setting
Function
Auto
The monitor automatically recognizes the connector through which signals are input and
displays images on the screen accordingly.
When an external device enters the power saving mode, the monitor automatically
displays another signal.
Manual
The monitor displays the signal from the selected connector irrespective of whether there
is signal input. Select the input signal for display using the
operation button.
Procedure
1. Choose “Tools” from the Adjustment menu, and press

2. Choose “Input Selection” from “Tools”, and press

3. Select “Auto” or “Manual” using

When “Auto” is selected for “Input Selection”, the monitor’s power saving function works only when all
external devices are in the power saving mode.
5-3. Skipping Unused Input Signals
This function allows skipping unneeded input signals when the input signals are switched.
Procedure
1. Choose “Tools” from the Adjustment menu, and press
