Damage to the installation and stock loss! In the case of incorrect settings of coding switches and the
defrost timer (INT/EXT), evaporator icing-up can occur due to non-synchronised defrost or absence
of the defrost! The defrost on demand only functions on the master. The initiation of any manual
defrost on the slaves is also not allowed.- Due to any defrost on demand configured in a slave, it is
possible that the master defrosts while the slave continues to operate in cooling mode. - The safe
defrost time of the slaves must be exactly the same as the safe defrost time of the master so that
none of the two case controllers switches to cooling mode before the other one due to expiry of the
safe defrost time.- The counting rate of the defrost on demand on the slave must be set to the value
0 (zero). The wait time for starting the defrost for the slave must not be different from 0 as otherwise
the defrosts of master and slave do not take place synchronously.
Defrost on demand only functions on the master case controller. The counting rate for the
defrost on demand on the slave must be set to the value 0 (zero).
When using an external defrost timer on the master, its internal defrost timer should be set to
“—“. Otherwise, the internal defrost times will be taken into account in addition to the external
defrost. The signal from the external defrost timer may only be used as pulse (> 10 seconds)
for the initiation of the defrost. In order to configure the master’s defrost timer, the parameter
must also be set here, see menu 3-2.
Abtauuhr = INT
The initiation of the manual defrost on the slave case controller is not possible.
The error message
refers to master and slave. Due to any defrost on
Defrost malfunction
demand in the master, this error message can be generated erroneously in the slave - e.g. if
the monitoring time is set too short. Any drip time which may have been set does not start to
elapse until the defrost has been completely ended and the cooling starts again.
Any drip time which may have been set does not start to elapse until the defrost has been
completely ended and the cooling starts again.
After the start of any defrost via the internal clock, no defrost again is possible before expiry of
the safe defrost time, even if cooling has been resumed in the meantime.
