impianto frenante
Attenzione
Il liquido impiegato
nell’impianto frenante, oltre a
danneggiare la vernice, è
dannosissimo a contatto degli occhi o
della pelle; lavare quindi
abbondantemente con acqua
corrente la parte interessata in caso di
accidentale contatto.
Svuotamento circuito frenante
Togliere il coperchio con membrana
dal serbatoio liquido freni, anteriore e
posteriore.
Collegare alla valvola di spurgo (1)
della pinza anteriore o alla valvola di
spurgo (2) della pinza posteriore uno
spurgatore per freni, comunemente
reperibile in commercio.
Note
Quando si usa un attrezzo per lo
spurgo del freno reperibile in
commercio, seguire le istruzioni
d’uso del fabbricante.
Allentare la valvola di spurgo e
pompare con lo spurgatore fino a
quando non esce più fluido
dall’impianto.
In caso di indisponibilità dello
spurgatore, collegare alla valvola di
spurgo (1) o alla valvola di spurgo (2),
un tubicino in plastica trasparente e
immergerne l’estremità in un
contenitore appoggiato sul pavimento
e contenente liquido freni usurato.
Svitare di 1/4 di giro la valvola di
spurgo.
Azionare la leva o il pedale comando
freno fino alla totale fuoriuscita del
liquido.
Eseguire l’operazione per ogni pinza
freno.
Changing the brake fluid
Warning
Brake fluid will damage painted
surfaces if spilled on them. In
addition, it will cause severe injury if
spilled on the skin or into your eyes.
In the event of accidental contact
with skin or eyes, wash the affected
area with abundant running water.
Draining the brake circuit
Take off the cover fitted with a
membrane from the front and rear
brake fluid reservoirs.
Connect a common brake bleeder,
easily available on the market, to the
front brake caliper bleed valve (1) or
the rear brake caliper bleed valve (2).
Note
Follow the manufacturer's
instructions when using a brake
bleeding tool available on the market.
Unscrew the bleed valve and pump
the brake bleeder until all the fluid has
fully drained off the circuit.
If you do not have a brake bleeder
available, attach a length of
transparent plastic tubing to the
caliper bleed valve (1) or (2) and put
the other end of the hose into a
container holding spent brake fluid
you will have placed on the floor.
Unscrew the bleed valve by one
fourth of a turn.
Operate the brake lever (or pedal)
until all the fluid has fully drained off
the circuit.
Repeat this operation for each brake
caliper.
