Administration Manual ip500pbxw – English

When set to the Medium level, this allows the user to host a mail server on the DMZ. This mail server can be accessed
externally from the WAN. This setting also allows responses to pings from the LAN to the DMZ.

When set to the Low level, this allows the user to host an FTP server on the DMZ. This FTP server can be accessed
externally from the WAN. This setting also allows responses to pings externally. The user can also host a web server on the
DMZ or the LAN that can be accessed from either. It also allows for telnet access from the LAN to the DMZ.

Changing the security level deletes the previous security level and any filters set and replaces them with the new
configuration.

To change the security level

1.

Select the required level from the drop-down menu

2.

Select ‘Change Level’

NAT operates independently on each interface and is enabled by default on each of the three interfaces.
