12.5 Customer 115 Vac connection to mounting plate terminal block

TIGHTEN MAINS TERMINAL TO 5-7 in-lb

Use Copper Conductors ONLY

12.5.1 Customer 115 Vac wiring.

WARNING

Routing and connection of 115 Vac
wiring to ED50 must be performed
by a qualified person!

WARNING

115 Vac branch circuit disconnect or
circuit breaker must be OFF!

CAUTION

Use copper conductors only!

12.5.2 ED50 wiring options.

1. Conduit box

(Fig. 12.5.3).

• U/L approved conduit box accessory;

provides 115 Vac surface wiring to ED50.

• Reference Para. 12.5.3 for

box

installation.

2. Power cord wiring kit

(Fig. 12.5.4).

• Eliminates need for hard wiring. Permits

ED50 to plug directly into 115 Vac
receptacle.

• Power cord length: 15" from end of

conduit box to center of plug.
