ENiQ® Wall Readers & Terminals

Please note! During joint operation of the DOM device and inductive loads
(such as E-openers) always heed
the max. permissible voltage sustaining capacity and current carrying
capacity of the DOM device. Voltage and current peaks caused by
feedback effects can lead to the destruction of the input assemblies. If
this is not guaranteed, please make sure voltage supply is separate.
Please note! The DOM devices (with the exception of the external reader
unit of the ENiQ
®
Module Reader
)
can be fitted to standard switch boxes (
60 mm, depth 42 mm). If you do not have a switch box available, you can
use the surface mounting frame from DOM which replaces the switch box.
Please note! To counteract manipulation and burglary attempts, the
DOM units must be installed in a protected area so that unauthorised
persons cannot access the controller.
Please note! Metallic objects in the immediate vicinity of the DOM
devices or other sources of interference may reduce the range.
Please note! The reading fields of two readers can mutually influence
one another. Always install the units at sufficient distances from each
other (more than 50 cm) to counteract mutual interference. At smaller
distances an authorised locking medium may be recognised only after a
delay.
Please note! Interference fields from external systems can cause an
authorised
locking medium to be recognised only after a delay or not at all.
Please note! The switch box must be installed in such a way that the
installation
frame can be fitted straight. You will find a dimensional drawing for
installation with surface mounting frame at the end of this instruction
manual.
Please note! The standard configurations are explained below. The
wiring and visualisation/signalling of the individual configuration saved in
the terminal can be found in the respective documentation.
Please note! For access control systems, you must use special door
openers with
flyback diode.
