Putting into operation
When you have connected all the cables correctly, you can put the DOM units
ENiQ AccessManager® Compact & HiSec, ENiQ AccessManager® Terminal
Compact & HiSec, ENiQ AccessManager® ITT, ENiQ
®
Module Reader and/or
the ENiQ
®
Passive Reader into operation.
Caution! In order to put the DOM units ENiQ AccessManager® Compact
& HiSec and ENiQ
®
Module Reader into operation without using the
ENiQ
®
Access Management Software, all you need is the master card
and the programming card. These are used to set the system's
identification. This is a one-off process which must be performed. Keep
the master card in a safe place to which only authorised persons have
access. The master card does not have a closing function!
When ENiQ
®
AccessManagement Software is used, the system can
also be put into operation without a master card.
Please note! The programming method described below using the master
and programming card is always carried out at the DOM device.
Putting into operation, initial programming and management of the ENiQ
AccessManager® Terminal Compact & HiSec and ENiQ AccessManager® ITT is
always done with the aid of the ENiQ Access Management software and is described
in detail in the quick guides which you will find on the DOM website.
The other devices ENiQ AccessManager® Compact & HiSec, ENiQ
®
Module Reader
and ENiQ
®
Passive Reader (in conjunction with a controller) can also be initialised
and operated in the ENiQ
®
Access Management software of course.
The electronics have an Ethernet and a wireless interface. These
interfaces can be used to exchange data with a PC/laptop/server.
Please note! Communication between PC/laptop and the DOM devices is
only possible via Ethernet or the DOM USB RF stick. Information about
this can be obtained directly from DOM Sicherheitstechnik.
You can use the ENiQ Access Management software to manage closing media and
authorisations as well as use functions which are exclusively available to the software.
