The following notes apply for the ENiQ AccessManager® Compact & HiSec, the
ENiQ AccessManager® Terminal Compact & HiSec, the ENiQ AccessManager®
ITT, the ENiQ® Module Reader and the ENiQ® Passive Reader.
Always observe the notes and safety instructions.
Some sections of these Installation and Operating Instructions are set apart by
pictograms. Memorise these pictograms and their meanings:
Caution! This sign marks a danger note or indicates an action that may
cause damage to the DOM devices or other product components.
Please note! This sign gives you useful information about
installation or operation.
Important information
Caution! Closing media and other components must be kept out of the
reach of small children, Small parts may be swallowed.
Caution! Material damage due to improper storage. If you store the DOM
device or other product components for an extended period prior to
assembly, store all the components in their original packaging in a dry,
dust-free location.
Caution! Damage due to improper installation and operation. Read these
instructions completely and carefully prior to installation and
commissioning. Follow the instructions step by step. The manufacturer
assumes no liability for damage resulting from improper installation or
operation.
Caution! DOM devices must not be used in potentially explosive areas.
Caution! Metal materials near the DOM device can easily become hot due
to the eddy currents generated by the reading field.
Caution! Following power failure, the date and time must be checked
and corrected if necessary (necessary for ENiQ
®
AccessManagement software).
