Copying data between the FOMA 

terminal and microSD Card

 

Manager information is written to the microSD Card when data is 
copied.

 

Data subject to file restrictions cannot be copied to the microSD Card.

 

Data may not be copied to the microSD Card depending on the size of 
the data and the microSD Card available space.

 

Copy up to 100 KB for melodies, 500 KB for Flash movies, 5 MB for 
JPEG/GIF images, 2 MB for PDF files, and 10 MB for i-motion on the 
FOMA terminal handset.

 

For the backed up data to microSD Card (

P. 336), when viewing the 

details screen, the only backed up data is copied to the FOMA terminal 
handset.

Phonebook

 

The saving destinations for name, reading, phone number and mail 
address may change when copying to the microSD Card.

 

The following data cannot be copied to the microSD Card.

Phonebook 2in1 settings

 

[No Name] appears when data without name is copied to the FOMA 
terminal handset.

The following data cannot be copied to the microSD Card.

Set holiday

Birthday data

 

Data with no end date/time set will be copied to the microSD Card with 
start date/time set as end date/time.

 

When copying to the FOMA terminal handset, a confirmation screen 
asking whether to overwrite the same data appears. Select [Overwrite]/
[Add].

Bookmark

 

Folder information cannot be copied to the microSD Card.

 

If the maximum number of bookmarks is saved in the FOMA terminal 
handset, additional bookmarks are not copied when copying selected 
items or all to the FOMA terminal handset.

Mail

 

A mail message with the total size exceeding 100 KB is copied to the 
microSD Card after the attached files are deleted.

 

Folder information cannot be copied to the microSD Card.

 

Protection cannot be set for mail which is copied to the microSD Card.

Images

 

JPEG images may have different file sizes when copied to the microSD 
Card. The size displayed in the microSD Card is the actual file size.

 

Frames are not copied to the microSD Card.

PDF

 

Copy up to 2 MB of PDF files to the microSD Card.

 

Some PDF files that failed to download may not be copied to the 
microSD Card.

ToruCa

 

When copying to the microSD Card, the message stating that ToruCa 
includes image with file restrictions is copied without details may 
appear. In that case, select [Agree].
