The larger the image size, the higher the image resolution. As the size
increases, the number of images to shoot and amount of recordable time
decrease (

Each image size of the still pictures is available on the following cases.
Available image sizes differ depending on the camera mode and main
camera/sub camera.
For shooting still pictures, set the main/sub camera separately.
For shooting moving pictures, both cameras are set in the same size.
However, when the main camera is set to
FWVGA: 864×480 or VGA:
640×480 and switched to the sub camera, the image size will be QCIF:
176×144 .

The Auto timer is activated after the Auto timer sound. After the set
time elapses, a picture is automatically shot after the shutter sound
or the shooting start sound.
Setting image size

8M: 2448×3264 These are ideal sizes for viewing on a PC or
printing.
5M: 1944×2592
3M: 1536×2048
FullHD: 1080×1920
Stand-by: 480×854
This is the same size as the display on the
FOMA terminal. Useful for shooting a still
picture to set as the stand-by display.
VGA: 480×640 These are ideal sizes for attaching to i-mode
mail and sending to the i-mode terminal or PC,
etc.
QVGA: 240×320
QCIF: 176×144
Setting image quality
<Select image quality>
HIGH QUALITY Shoot with high image quality.
FINE Shoot with fairly high image quality.
NORMAL Shoot with standard image quality.
ECONOMY (only for moving pictures) Increase shooting time and shoot.
Shooting images with Auto timer
<Auto timer>
If a call is received or an alarm is activated while Auto timer is activated,
the Auto timer is canceled and the shooting screen reappears.
When setting the Egao focus shutter mode with Auto timer set, Auto
timer is disabled.
