Procedures to check the flow rate of spindle coolant water

Step No.

Procedure

(Continued from the previous section)

Remove the cover shown in the figure below at the left side of the machine.

Remove this cover

Spindle coolant flowmeter

Left side

Check to make sure that the flow rate of spindle coolant water is 1.5 L/min or higher.

・

If the flow rate of spindle coolant water is less than 1.5 L/min, check the flow rate of
supply water at the plant facility side.

Install the cover removed in step 1.
