2–14 Ultra SCSI RAID Enclosure

Error Detection, Reporting, Analysis

The EMU and PVA constantly monitor the operational status of the
enclosure and its components. In some instances, automatic corrective
action implementation occurs. Status changes can be reported to the user
using a combination of LEDs, the EMU audible alarm, and an optional
maintenance terminal connected to the array controller. Table 2–6 lists the
major enclosure components and the status monitored.
