Adding the DECserver 900MC to the Database
To configure the DECserver 900MC modems using the Access Server Manager
application, you have to:
1)
Add the DECserver 900MC to the Access Server Manager’s database.
2)
Set the modem country location.
Start the Access Server Manager application and complete the following steps:

With the Access Server Manager Browser displayed, click on New.

Enter the DECserver 900MC’s Internet address or select it from the
drop-down list if you entered the address into the NetRider BootP
Loader database.

Enter a name for the DECserver 900MC access server.

Click on OK. The application displays the Country page.

Is the displayed country correct?
•
If yes, click on Close.
•
If no, select the correct country from the drop-down list and click on
the Set Country Now. Then, click on Close.
Note: If you change the country code, reboot the DECserver 900MC
to have the new country code take effect.
Before Phone Line Connection: Be sure to set the correct country
location for the modems before you connect them to telephone lines.
