Task 3: Verify Initial LED Operation
If this is a new installation, turn on the power to the DEChub 900 MultiSwitch. If the
module was installed while the DEChub 900 was powered up, seating the module will
initiate the module’s power up sequence. For locations of the module’s LEDs, refer to
Figure 2-1.
Verify that the module’s Power LED and the Module OK LED light within 1 minute.
The LEDs light in the following stages:

The Power LED lights when power is applied to the DEChub 900, then
the module performs a self-test.

After the module completes self-test, the Module OK LED lights.
Then the Hub Manager status identifies the module as a
DECserver
900MC
.
