FIXATION OF THE MOUNT PLATES OAM010
•
The mount plates are designed as a bolt-on system, both where they mount to the lift frame, and where they mount to the vehicle
chassis.
NOTICE
CAUTION
•
If you intend to weld, ALWAYS follow the NOTICE and CAUTION with regards to welding in section 4 on page 6.
•
Slide the mount plates inwards until they are perfectly aligned with the chassis rails.
•
Straighten the mount plates, and make sure they stand perpendicular to the lift frame. Ensure the lift frame is correctly centered
under the vehicle chassis and body.
•
The mount plates MUST be bolted to the lift frame according to the instructions in section 9 on page 19. Tighten the bolts and nuts
with the prescribed torque. See section 19.2 on page 51.
•
The mount plates, if bolted to the vehicle chassis, must have
bolts and nuts tightened with the prescribed torque, according
to the prescribed torque values for bolts and nuts.
•
Pay special attention to the type, minimum quantity, minimum
size and strength, position, and prescribed torque of
hardware.
WARNING
•
Position the lift frame, mount plates, bolts and nuts in accordance with the instructions in this manual.
•
Fasten the mounting bolts with the prescribed torque
(see values for “shear”).
•
Disregard could lead to a fall of the liftgate and its load, and may put the operator and bystanders at risk of serious personal injury
or death.
