•
Lower and remove the hydraulic mounting jack. Remove all remaining mounting aids (hoists, forklift with slings, C-clamps, etc.) that
have been used during installation.
•
Operate LOWER to lower the platform to the ground.
•
Verify the safety valves on all cylinder(s) are closed. Make sure the coils and their cables are positioned so that they cannot be pinched
or damaged during any of the liftgate functions. Make sure the locking nut of the coil is firmly tightened.
•
Execute LIFT / LOWER at least 5 times. Make sure there is no interference or collision between the liftgate and the vehicle. The
liftgate should operate smoothly and quietly, and at a fairly constant pace. Only the sound of the power pack should be audible. In
case of jerking movements or odd sounds, discontinue, investigate the issue at hand, and correct prior to continuing in order to avoid
damage to the liftgate or potential hazards for the operators.
•
Bleed all air from the hydraulic circuits. Preferably, raise the rear end of vehicle off the ground, or raise its air suspension to the allowed
maximum.
•
Starting from the platform in open position, LOWER the platform fully to its deepest position at ground and press LOWER for extra 20
sec. LIFT the platform again and repeat until no more air bubbles back to the oil reservoir.
•
If the platform opener assembly was dismounted during installation or moved, make sure all bolts are fastened with the prescribed
torque.
