How to View the Electronic-Format Manual

From the [Start] menu, click [All Apps] (or [All Programs]), then [DGSHAPE DWX-42W]. Then click
[User’s Manual].
Windows 8.1
On the [Start] screen, click
. On the [Apps] screen, click the [User’s Manual] icon under [DGSHAPE
DWX-42W].
Step 2 : Connecting the USB Cable
• Use the included USB cable.
• Do not use a USB hub. Connection may not be possible.
• When using a LAN connection, we recommend that you use a LAN connection after connecting over a USB.
By establishing a USB connection and a LAN connection, you can reduce the risk of operations being
stopped due to unexpected network problems.
• Fix the USB cable in place with the cable clamp.

Important: When connecting multiple machines
When using USB cables to connect two or more machines to one computer, be sure to refer to
the User's Manual. To connect the second and subsequent machines, you have to change the
machine's ID.
Connecting before changing the ID may render the machine unusable.
