2. Connecting to the Computer
Installation Procedure
You can install the driver, software, and electronic-format manual all at once. You can also install the driver and
each piece of software separately.

Important
Be sure to connect the machine to the computer as instructed in the procedure. Failure to follow
the correct procedure may make installation impossible.
Procedure
A
Before installation, confirm that the machine and the computer are not connected with the
USB cable.

Log on to Windows as an “Administrator.”

Insert the DGSHAPE Software Package CD into the CD-ROM drive of the computer.
When the automatic playback window appears, click [Run menu.exe]. If a [User Account Control]
window appears, click [Allow] or [Yes], and then continue with the installation. The setup menu screen
appears automatically.

Click [Install].
Install the DWX-42W driver and the various software all at once. Follow the on-screen instructions to
proceed with the installation.
E
Click [OK].
