Collet
This tool is used to secure the milling
bur. It needs to be maintained after
operations are finished each day.

Dummy
pin
This is a milling bur dummy. It is attached
to the spindle upon shipment. A
malfunction may occur if the collet does
not grasp anything, so have it grasp the
dummy pin when it is not grasping a
milling bur.
* In the manuals for this machine (including this document), the mechanisms around the spindle unit are
called the “spindle head.” Also, the rotary-axis area inside the spindle unit is called the “spindle.”

Coolant tank
This is the tank that holds the coolant. The coolant must be replaced
and the filters must be cleaned periodically.

Storage
Milling burs and other items can be stored here. It has two levels. The
upper level is exactly large enough to fit the included maintenance kit
case.
