ANALOG DERIVATOR
VERY IMPORTANT: This function performs the opposite action of the Integrator function. It si
used to measure the rate of changes of a variable, i.e. of a variable which increases or
decreases in function of time, for example, in tnak Level or Volume measurements, whenthe
Derivative function is performed gives the result Liter/H, m3/min, etc. In Temperature
variation, the Derivative function gives ºC/min. In counting and totalization, the Derivative
function gives the result of counted units by unit of time, etc.
CONFIGURATION OF MAIN PARAMETERS OF DERIVATOR FUNCTION DER 1 AND DER 2:
● Procedure to assign the Derivators “Der 1” and “Der 2” in case it were not activated.
- In [ConF] [Der 1 ] or in [Der 2] depending on the one used, and in parameter [P 01] check
[??nn]
- If this code indicates [??04] (not assigned), modify the digits according to the following:
Most common virtual connections to realize the Derivative function:
Process Variable PV value of AI 1, AI 2, AI 3 [??09], [??10], [??11] respectively.

Derivation Time Setting:
It is used to set the time base dt to perform the derivative function (dx / dt) of the analog signal
dx.
The derivation Time should be set in seconds.
For example:
- To measure in Unit/min. set to [0060] , which is the derivation time per minutes.
- To measure in Unid./H set to [3600] , which is the derivation time per hour.
· In [ConF] [Der 1] or [Der 2] , in parameter [P 02] introduce in [nnnn] the value in seconds
of the derivation time.
- Possible limits: 1 to 28800 s.

The presentation on the display should be programmed, previously, by LoopWin software.
