ALARM CONFIGURATION [AL 1...6]

The selection of the alarm type Deviation or Independent, High or Low, of each of the Alarms

[AL 1], [AL 2], [AL 3], [AL 4], [AL 5] 

and

 [AL 6]

 , as well as, the assignment of the input or

output, can be realized by the configuration of the correspondent option in 

[Menu]

 

[ConF]

. See

Configuration by Keypad.

MODIFICATION OF ALARM SETPOINTS [SPA 1...6]

In the HS-7300 Series the maximum limit is --1999 to 9999 points while in the HS-7200 and
HS-7500 is ± 32000 points, however, can be limited to any value in-between.

The number of decimals 0, 1, 2 or 3, can be configured by keypad or by LoopWin software. See
Advanced Programming.

Each one of the alarm Setpoints 

SPA 1...6

, can be located, by programming, in any of the used

loops, as well as, can be protected by Password level. See Advanced Programming.

- Select by 

 key one of the 

L1, L2 or L3 

indicated by the correspondent LED, where the alarm

to modify is located. 

AL 1 and AL 2 

in Loop 1, 

AL 3 and AL 4

 in Loop 2, 

AL 5 and AL 6

 (in

Loop 3).

- Once the loop to modify is selected, press key 

 until the alarm to modify is displayed (

AL

1 

to

 AL 6

).

- Press 

 to go in the alarm. The display shows 

[xxxx]

 

[SPA n]

 where “n” is the alarm number

and [xxxx] is the actual setpoint value of this alarm.

- Press 

 again in order to modify. The unity digit start flickering.

- Press   to change the value of the digit and then press 

 to shift to the next digit repeating

the process until achieving the new alarm value.

- Press 

 to save the new value, or press 

 to modify the hysterisis

- To exit press 

 repeatedly, until 

NORMAL DISPLAY.

NOTE 1: 

The value to introduce in SPA depends on the  configurated Type of the correspondent Alarm

.
If Independent Alarm Type, then SPA will be absolute value in physical units.
If Deviation Alarm Type, then SPA will be the deviated value of the band over oe under SP n.
If Deviation Band Alarm Type, then SPA will be the deviated value of the band on both sides of
SP n.

NOTE 2: 

If the introduced value of any of the Alarm Setpoints SPA 1 to SPA 6, is higher than the

High or Low limits already set in the Configuration menu, this value will be displayed but when
validation key 

 is pressed, the value stored will be the High or Low preset value, depending

on the exceeded limit.

MODIFICATION OF HYSTERESIS OF THE ALARM SETPOINTS [HI 1...6]

- Press  

 repeatedly until the alarm to modify (

AL 1 to AL 6

) is displayed located in its

correspondent loop.

- Press 

 to go in the alarm. The display shows 

[xxxx]

 

[SPA n]

 where “n” is the alarm

number.

- Press

 is displayed where “n” is the alarm number and [0001] indicates

0.1 or 1 depending on the physical units of the actual hysteresis value of the alarm.

NOTE:

 The number of decimals should be the same as the one set for the Alarm.
