ALARM SETPOINTS  [AL 1] [AL 2] [AL 3] [AL 4] [AL 5] and [AL6]

Allow to see and modify the Alarm Setpoint value  assigned to each loop.

The  mnemonic AL could be visible, modifiable or hidden in the menu (by programming)
depending on number of active loops and the function assigned to each one of them.

Every instrument of the 

HS-7000

 Series is provided with 6 preconfigured Alarm Blocks.

The Alarm Blocks are independent of the physical relay outputs(slots Y1, Y2, Y3 and Y4) and
of the LED indicators on the display, and could be assigned on request by keypad or by
LoopWin(see Advanced Programming Manual). In the standard instruments, the configuration
is set as follows:

ALARM TYPES

THe instruments of the 

HS-7000

 Series are factory programmed as High or Low Alarm(see

figure below). Different alarm type can be programmed by keypad (see Alarm Configuration) or
by LoopWin software.

The predefined Alarm types are:

(a) Independent Hi-Alarm:

Activate the alarm when PV increases exceeding
AL value

(b) Independent Lo-Alarm:

Activate the alarm when PV decreases exceeding
AL value

The configurable Alarm types are:

(c) Deviation Hi-Alarm:

Activate the alarm when PV exceeds AL value over
the SP

(d) Deviation Lo-Alarm:

Activate the alarm when PV exceeds AL value under
the SP

(e) Band Deviation Alarm:

Activate the alarm when PV exceeds AL value on
both sides of SP

Any of those alarm types can be configured by
keypad (see Alarm Configuration) or by 

LoopWin

software
