PASSWORDS [PASS]

The 

HS-7000

 Series is protected against unauthorized manipulation with 4 access levels with

different passwords, from a unique screen on display 

[PASS] [0000]

. Depending on the

password introduced  the access to a certain safety level is allowed from least to most.

FOUR ACCESS LEVELS

They are different areas of the menu where certain functions are located where the accessibilty
is restricted to specialized staff with different levels of priority. Each level has its own password.

The access levels are the following:

Access level 1:

Allows to see and modify the factory programmed parameters in this level.

●

Access level 2:

Allows the access to the 

PID Control submenu of the 3 loops,

 to see and modify the

programmed parameters in this level and in level 1.

●

Access level 3:

Allows the access to 

Configuration and Programming Submenu,

 to see and modify the

programmed parameters in this level and in level 2.

●

Access level 4:

allows the access to 

Calibration Submenu, 

to see and modify the factory programmed

parameters in this level and in level 3.

VERY IMPORTANT: 

One single password set to the 4 levels will enable the accessibilty to all

the levels at once.

PROCEDURE TO ACCESS

Option 

[PASS]

 allows the access to the Controller function parameters.

The passwords set in factory to every one of the 4 levels is 

0001.

Note: 

It is recommended to change the passwords according to the instrumentist priorities, once

the HS-7000 has been programmed. See in Configuation the procedure to change the password.

CONFIGURATION OF LEVELS WITH THE FUNCTIONS TO RESTICT

Can be realized by LoopWin (see Advanced Programming).

The functions which can be restricted with password are:

- Control Setpoints SP 1...3  and the A/M functions

- Alarm Setpoints AL 1...4 and the Auxiliary Setpoints Str 1...4

- Frequency-meter and Counter DI 2, Integrator Int, and the Hold function Hld

The factory restricted functions are:

- PID parameters (Autotuning, Fuzzy-Logic, etc.), Configuration Menu, Calibration Menu
