8.3.6 Remove fan in the event of critical contamination according to No. E
Follow the steps 1-15 from Chapter 8.3.2.
Only for SWIRL® units: follow the steps 16 - 21 from Chapter 8.3.5.
Continue with the steps 23 - 26 from Chapter 8.3.2.
Now the cover and the condensate pan are removed from the unit.
38.
The fan is connected with the switch cabinet by one or two cables. It is not
necessary to open the switch cabinet and to remove the cables out of the
cable duct. The cables are attached to the heat exchanger pipework. Do
NOT remove this cable strap! It is important to remember the wiring so you
can restore it to its original state. Use this option or fasten the fan cables
on the inside of the heat exchanger connection panel with cable straps or
a clip (see Fig. 8-7). Release this fixing.
39.
During cleaning work, use a few cable straps or other aids to secure the fan
to the heat exchanger pipework without causing any tension (provisional
cable strain relief). The fan hangs approximately 30 cm under the piping.
Fasten the cable strap(s) (L~ 80 cm) to the heat exchanger pipework and
later to the impeller of the fan (see Fig. 8-8).
HAZARDOUS VOLTAGE!
Disconnect the unit from the power supply (point 3)! Make sure that the intercon-
nection cables between unit and cover are secured against being electrically
alive before installation.
