Showing the Running-Configuration for an Interface
To view the configuration for any interface, use the following command.
•
Show the currently running configuration for the specified interface.
EXEC mode
show running-config interface
type
{
slot/port
}
Enter the keyword
interface
then the type of interface and slot/port information:
•
For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
TenGigabitEthernet
then the slot/port[/subport] information.
•
For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
fortyGigE
then the slot/port information.
•
For the Management interface on the stack-unit, enter the keyword
ManagementEthernet
then the slot/port information.

Clearing IPv6 Routes
To clear routes from the IPv6 routing table, use the following command.
•
Clear (refresh) all or a specific route from the IPv6 routing table.
EXEC mode
clear ipv6 route {* |
ipv6 address prefix-length
}
•

: all routes.
•
ipv6 address
: the format is x:x:x:x::x.
•
mask
: the prefix length is from 0 to 128.
NOTE:
IPv6 addresses are normally written as eight groups of four hexadecimal digits, where each group is separated by a
colon (:). Omitting zeros is accepted as described in

Disabling ND Entry Timeout
When a peer system warmboots or performs an ISSU, the ND entries in the local system may time out resulting in traffic loss. You can
configure the system to keep the learnt neighbor discovery entries stateless so that the ND entries do not time out. To configure the
system to keep the learnt neighbor discovery entries stateless, follow these steps:
•
Disable the ND timer:

ipv6 nd disable-reachable-timer

To reenable the ND timer, use the no form of the command:
